Free Ebook Upgrade

As part of the efforts of the ebook platform provider to continuously increase features and security, your ebook will need to be upgraded to a more recent version. The upgrade process has been made as simple and transparent as possible. The next time you open the eBook, you will see a pop up window:

You will need to click on “Open link”

This will take you to: http://www.secure-ebook.com/help/reader_update_1_2_4_0

After you have downloaded the file, you simply have to execute the file within the .Zip file and follow the instructions to upgrade your eBook.

If you have trouble with the upgrade, do the following:

1. Locate your original registration key for the ebook.
2. De-register the existing ebook on your system via the menu in the ebook.
3. Uninstall it. Download and install the latest version from this web site.
4. Re-register it with your original registeration key.

Crossposted from here: jacob Says: March 5, 2008 at 2:31 am A tip:I was concerned that reading the Apparatus (i.e., endnotes) might be a cumbersome task, but I found that I could launch the .exe file a second time and have both Volume 1 and Volume 4 (Apparatus) open at the same time. Not side by side – the ebook reader won’t let one size the screen to show two windows at once – but I can easily switch back and forth between the two to read the referenced endnote just by clicking on the tab in the taskbar for the volume I want to look at.
